📝 Extracted Text (OCR)
Every word in every document in the claim file is now searchable across the entire 71-page
FIPPA release simultaneously.

This capability was decisive in the discovery of the chronological sanitization. The worker
was able to search for "1991" and "1992" across all 900+ pages in seconds, immediately
surfacing the draft note on page 24 that contradicted the undated references in the final
opinion. A manual search through 900+ pages of legal-weight paper might have missed it.
The OCR index found it immediately.

The Portable Export — Evidence That Cannot Be Buried

The Evidence Vault exports the entire evidentiary record as a self-contained ZIP archive
containing a single HTML file with all images embedded as base64 data URLs. This portable
export can be opened on any computer—a legal office, a specialist's clinic, a regulatory
tribunal's desktop—without requiring any software installation, network access, or file sharing
infrastructure.

A printed package of documents can be misplaced, redacted, or returned. A ZIP file
containing a fully linked, searchable, colour-coded relational database of every piece of
evidence in the claim file, with bidirectional connections already established, is considerably
harder to lose.

The Sort, Filter, and Navigation Architecture

The interface provides eight sort modes across the full evidence set—chronological
ascending and descending, by card number, alphabetical, by document type, and
key-evidence-first—allowing the worker to shift perspective on the dataset instantly. This is
not an organisational convenience. It is a pattern recognition tool.

Sorted chronologically, the evidence tells the story of an injury and an administrative
response. Sorted by document type, it reveals the relative volume of employer-originated
versus worker-originated versus WorkSafeBC-originated records. Sorted key-evidence-first,
it surfaces the six documents that form the core of the forensic case. Each sort reveals a
different dimension of the same dataset—the same cognitive operation the worker's autistic
pattern-recognition performs naturally, now available to any legal professional who opens the
export.

Why This Is Not a Side Project

The Evidence Beast is not a hobby application built alongside the legal case. It is the legal
case—the externalized architecture of a specific kind of mind responding to a specific kind of
institutional failure.

When WorkSafeBC stripped the dates from the 1991 benchmark and the 1992 printer
memo, they were counting on the standard failure mode of injured claimants: fatigue.
Cognitive overload. The accumulated weight of emergency room visits, medication changes,
disrupted sleep, and financial anxiety eventually causes most people to miss the thread that
unravels the denial. The institution knows this. It is part of the model.
