Just so you are aware, my inspectional cycle is not complete, I am still working on this issue. As we discussed before and as a reminder, the threshold for noise is based on OHS 7.2(a)-(b) which are: (a) 85 dBA Lex daily noise exposure level; (b) 140 dBC peak sound level. Note: there is no mention in the regulation or guidelines regarding specific frequencies. These are the only criteria by which I can enforce noise regulation under Part 7 (there are others for testing, but again, only in relation to dBA Lex). Regarding topics you think I should have mentioned in my inspection report, please note I am not permitted through policy to include any personal information pertaining to any individual worker, their medical diagnosis, or claims history.
