WCB ‘acoustic Injury' 19Jan2026. Control operator training. No previous hearing issues

Reports noise exposure from servers located behind his desk which he moved to one week prior.

Developed headaches , bilateral earache, irritability and loss of appetite. He filed a safety concern

His employer assessed nose at 56- 63db. File was closed. He also attended ER- no evidence of infection

He remains off work. Anxiety is increased today ‘I'm getting no REM sleep.’ Awaiting psychiatry/psychology assessment.
Headache has improved scores 1/10 improved on nurtec. Ongoing left earache 6/10.

Sieep has deteriorated even with seroquel 25mg. He is still sleeping in a tent. BP 138/78.

imp migraine, anxiety disorder unspecified. Plan increase to seroquel 37.5mg. Would recommend ENT assessment.
Not fit for GRTW at this time. Requires psychological assessment. R/V in 1-2 weeks
