RE: Server Room Noise Exposure Assessment

As per your request, Arcose Consulting Ltd. (Arcose) is pleased to submit this proposal to
conduct a noise exposure assessment inside the Server Room at BCRTC’s center located

at 6700 Southridge Drive, Burnaby, BC.

It is our understanding that this assessment is in response to recent noise concerns raised

by a worker regarding their workspace.

1.0 SCOPE OF WORK

Based on our understanding of the project requirements for this assessment, the following

scope of work is proposed:

e Conduct spot measurements inside the server room using a Type 2 Sound
Level Meter, as per Part 7.3 of the British Columbia Occupational Health

and Safety Regulations (BC OHSR).

e Conduct noise dosimetry to evaluate the worker’s exposure to noise levels

during a standard work shift.

e Prepare a noise survey map and a written report detailing our findings and

recommendations.
