- Currently well-controlled on pantoprazole.

- Advised to discontinue pantoprazole after one month trial and monitor for symptom recurrence.

- Lifestyle modifications advised: avoid alcohol, hot drinks (especially coffee), late night eating, eating within two hours of
bedtime, fizzy drinks, and citrus fruits.
