which uses the low current signal from the Uno to switch high current DC loads on and off in microseconds. The Uno also connects to 4 Dallas DS18B20 digital temperature sensors via a OneWire network. Areas monitored: tent outside ambient, tent inside ambient, bulb temperature, and heated blanket temperature. Pi CPU temperature is monitored separately via the onboard sensor. The Pi connects to the home LAN via a 150Mb Powerline Ethernet Adapter β reliable, low clutter, no WiFi dependency. The Pi also runs Tailscale VPN, providing secure remote access to the LAN and to CozZie Glow's web app controls from anywhere. The Tent β A Sensory Sanctuary It is now my sensory sanctuary. A purpose built black fabric bed tent β queen size, purchased on Amazon β sits over my bed. Not a camping tent. A completely blacked out personal environment that happens to be exactly where you already sleep. The concept is simple and brilliant. Total light isolation. Partial sound muffling β enhanced further by a thick blanket draped over one side. And unlike a room you can't control, the tent environment is entirely yours. | think everyone should have one. When | camp in the mountains, everything | need is in my tent. | can do most things from my sleeping bag. The bed tent brings that same self-contained comfort home. Everything within reach. Everything controlled. No need to leave unless you choose to. Inside β two handbuilt mason jar lamps, cabling running through custom black fabric sleeve sewn from an old pair of pants. For someone managing migraines, hyperacusis, and light sensitivity β this is a recovery pod. For anyone who has ever been woken by light pollution, a partner's phone, or a streetlight through thin curtains β this is a solution hiding in plain sight. CozZie Glow was built for this space. They belong together.
