Training conditions and workstation layout

The investigation concluded:

1. Noise levels in the training room do not pose a hearing health hazard.
2. WorkSafeBC Noise Exposure Limits were not exceeded at any time.

3. Some localized noise from server equipment and communication speakers is present, but
not at harmful levels.

4. The exam environment may have been subjectively distracting for the worker, but objective
measurements do not indicate unsafe conditions.

5. BCRTC acknowledges opportunities to evaluate whether alternative exam spaces or
administrative supports could reduce distractions for trainees during assessment.

7. Corrective Actions Already Taken
