Hi Jason (and others),

As an FYI, City of Burnaby Inspector was by on Thursday to meet with Rupert (Lead Engineer - Electrical, and our
FSR). No concerns with installation of equipment in the room. Rupert is having a follow up meeting with the Rail
Safety Manager from TSBC (not scheduled yet) to confirm whether our internal change control processes are
robust enough to exempt us from having to pull electrical permits for the work we normally do.

Have shared the above with Sany (he was informed of the initial complaint regarding non-permitted work).

| wanted to provide a quick update. | received a call this afternoon from Jaylin Cassady at WorkSafeBC.
Based on our submissions, WorkSafeBC has decided not to accept Mark Holland’s claim as a workplace
injury. We can expect formal notification letters through the WorkSafeBC portal as well as by regular mail

in the coming days.
