| am writing in response to Mark Holand’s access request for records related to BCRTC and TransLink’s
handling of a breach notification email that he sent from marktholand@gmail.com to
privacy @translink.ca on June 22, 2026 (the “breach notification email”).

Regrettably, Privacy never received the breach notification email.

On September 28, 2026, | confirmed with TransLink’s Cyber Security Delivery team that the inbound
breach notification email was flagged as a threat and quarantined by TransLink’s email security filters, as
shown by the screenshot of the relevant system logs below:

End users like me do not have visibility to the quarantine environment, so | was unaware that the breach
notification email even existed.
