The Guldeway Servicemen work on a 12-month shift rotation, Shifts cover all seven days of the waek. Full-time shifts

include unpald 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks, There are two separate part-time nightshifts available,:one
§. hour shift and one 7.5 haur shift, The shift rotation runs as follaws:

Oay Shift Monthly Ratation: 4 on/2 off, 3 on/2 off, 5.on/5 off, 4 on/3 off

Day Shift Hours: 7:00am-5:30pm (10 hours}

Night Shift £ Rotation: 4 on/3 off

Night Shift 1 Hours: 8:00pm-6:30am (10 hours)

Night Shift 2 Rotation: 5 an/2 aff, 3 on/4 off Night Shift. 2-Hours: 8:00pm-6:30am {10 hours}
Night Shift 3 Rotation: 3.an/Soff ; ,

The Guideway Servicemen assist a Technician in the repalr and’maintenance of yard and matniine track, spacial track work,
power rall, reaction rall, guideway structure, dralnage, walkways and fences. They also workon tasks that affect the averall
Integrity of the track, including rail grinding, coverboard replacement and guideway cleaning, ballast work and shop work.
The day shift consists of visual Inspections and amergency.repairs as needed. The night shift there Isa 3-5 hour window
to allow major repalrs and maintenance projects to he completed. Visual inspections of the tracks occur avery 2 weeks
and they: Invalve walking up to 4km of track to-inspect the tracks. Guldeway Servicamen are responsible for operating
equipment including rail borne equipment, cranes and revenue vehicles, Maintenance and repalrs may Include LIM-
lowering, rall grinding, or changing out a rall. In the event-of a Red India (train striking patran on tracks), the team Is
cesponsible for recovering the train and repalring the guideway.
