The Act provides that the City of Burnaby must respond to your request within 30 business days
once your request is determined to meet the requirement under section 4 of the Act, except in
special circumstances where time extensions are authorized by the Act.

The City received your application fee payment on October 8, 2026 and your right of access to
records is now confirmed. The City will respond no later than November 23, 2026. We will make
every effort to make the records available to you sooner if possible.

Pursuant to the Act and the City of Burnaby’s Freedom of Information Bylaw No. 10183, there
may be a processing fee for your request. As soon as we have located the applicable records,
we will provide you with a fee estimate if applicable.
