Dear Cecilia,
| am writing to request an update on the investigation regarding the unpermitted industrial installation at 6800 14th Ave (OMC1).

| last emailed you on April 25, 2026, when | submitted the supplemental briefing document, "The Name and Address Shell Game," which detailed the address
discrepancies, occupancy misclassifications, and jurisdictional evasion tactics used by BCRTC management.

It has now been six months since | initially reported these BC Building Code (specifically 3.1.9 Firestopping) and electrical violations, and | have not yet
received word on the outcome of the City's investigation.

This update is now vital to my active WorkSafeBC claim review and a pending human rights case. Establishing whether the City of Burnaby found this
installation to be compliant or issued any compliance orders is a critical factor in these proceedings.

Could you please advise on what actions the City of Burnaby has taken regarding the unpermitted work and code violations at this location?

In addition, we do not participate or provide opinions for WorkSafe claims or other legal matters. Any investigation undertaken is solely conducted for the
purpose of determining compliance with applicable City bylaws and regulations.

Any request for records related to this matter must be made through the Freedom of Information (FOI) process and any disclosure will be subject to applicable
privacy legislation.
