The FOI discovery reveals a pattern of providing false information to third-party consultants to manipulate safety
benchmarks.

e Location Tampering: Management manually provided incorrect addresses—6700 Southridge Drive (FOI
Doc pg. 155) and 6700 14th Ave (FOI Doc pg. 151)—for the noise assessment. My actual worksite was
6800 14th Ave.

e Label Manipulation: Management labeled the site as a "Server Room" (FOI Doc pg. 153, 155, 163) to
justify high noise levels.

¢ The Late Correction: The address and label were only corrected in the final report on March 11 (Claim

File pg. 95), after the demotion was already in motion. This proves the "Server Room" label was a
temporary administrative shield used to execute the retaliatory demotion.

4. Temporal Proximity to the "Burnaby Trigger"

e March 7: | escalated the safety concern externally by filing a complaint with the City of Burnaby
regarding unpermitted installations and code violations (FOI Doc pg. 17).

e March 13: The employer finalized the demotion notice.

¢ The Nexus: The employer terminated my role just six days after my report to the City and just days before
a City Inspector arrived (March 19) to verify the hazards | had documented.

5. Summary of Prohibited Action

Under Section 47 of the Workers Compensation Act, an employer is prohibited from taking adverse action
against a worker for raising a safety concern. The attached evidence (FOI pg. 183 and Claim File pg. 456) proves
that BCRTC management fabricated a disciplinary narrative to mask retaliation for an OHS and Building Code
report.
